The Don Beebe Golf Classic, an annual event in its 32nd year for Chadron State College to raise funds for the Eagles' athletic programs, was held last month over Memorial Day weekend, and Wahlstrom Ford was proud to be a part of it as a sponsor of the two-day event.
Groups of five teed off at Ridgeview Country Club, where multiple teams participated in two rounds of golf in a scramble format, while there was also the Eagle Athletic Auction event, a dinner, all going toward ensuring that Chadron State athletics, whose teams we support in the community, can use for scholarship funds so the student-athletes can pursue athletic and academic excellence.
As a proud sponsor, we make sure that the school could run the event smoothly, and continue to keep the community involved in Chadron State athletics programs, which give us plenty of entertainment throughout the year. The money raised by this event directly helps with the on-field success of teams from football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, softball and more, and we're happy to do our part.
